OUR OPERATIONS
All operations are carried out within prescribed health and safety regulations. All necessary PPE is provided as prescribed by labour regulations. Lighting within the workshop and office space is more than sufficient with energy saving bulbs and led’s all round. We also run a 130 K/w Grid-tied solar PV plant with a battery backup system consisting of 180K/w inverters and 220 K/w per hour battery pack fed from the PV plant. This ensures carbon avoidance of around 100 tonnes per annum.
All oils and wastes are disposed of by a certified company as we constantly strive to be environmentally friendly.
Machines are checked on a regular basis for straightness and general maintenance.
All Measuring equipment used on final inspection is calibrated in accordance to SANAS specifications, we also run an inventory and tooling system called “matrix” where all tools and measuring equipment are drawn from to ensure absolute traceability on all components made. Each order is also issued with a job card.
In short, each component which is made by Wysa Engineering has traceability from the mill where the materials were produced (material certificates), to Local suppliers, the Tooling used, the machines that it was manufactured on, the Responsible person for each operation, Heat treatment, and special coatings with certificates right up until final inspection and delivery. We pride ourselves on constantly improving the manufacturing process and cost by Implementing Industry 4.0 and 5.0.
